I'm dedicated to fostering transparency in local governance. Through accessible communication channels and open dialogue, I will ensure that residents have a clear understanding of government decisions, budgets, and policies. It’s time we start asking where our tax dollars are being spent and have controls in place to ensure they are not wasted. At the same time, it’s vital we properly fund our local public schools and community programs that support all residents.
As someone who grew up in rural Michigan where farming drives the economy (Harbor Beach), I understand the vital role that agriculture plays in our community's economy and identity. As Commissioner, I will advocate for policies that support local farmers and agricultural businesses, including reducing regulatory barriers and promoting market access and innovation. Growing and ensuring the future of our farms and orchards is a top priority of mine.
