I'm Lance Boehmer, and I'm thrilled to serve as your advocate for positive change in Grand Traverse County and the wider Traverse City area.

My journey is defined by a diverse array of experiences and passions. As a lifelong member of Civil Air Patrol, I've found fulfillment in assisting in Search and Rescue Missions and honing my skills as a pilot. Aviation is not just a hobby for me; it's a passion that drives me to contribute to the safety and well-being of our community from the skies.

In addition to my aviation pursuits, I'm deeply committed to our local community. As a small business owner, I own a commercial landscaping company right here in Traverse City. Through my business, I've had the privilege of beautifying our surroundings and contributing to the vibrancy of our neighborhoods.

Professionally, I bring over 15 years of experience in leadership within the automotive industry, along with a proven track record of leadership and innovation. I’ve hired and trained hundreds of employees and have negotiated public-private partnerships with the likes of the City of Indianapolis and the Denver Housing Authority. I have a keen eye for finances and working to protect revenue and make sound purchasing decisions having worked within the public, private, and non-profit sectors.

Beyond my professional and aviation endeavors, I find solace and joy in my personal life. I'm happily married, and my spouse and I reside in Long Lake Township with our two beloved rescue dogs. Our home serves as a sanctuary where we recharge and reflect on the beauty of our surroundings.
