I'm Lance Boehmer, and I'm thrilled to serve as your advocate for positive change in Grand Traverse County and the wider Traverse City area.

My journey is defined by a diverse array of experiences and passions. As a lifelong member of Civil Air Patrol, I've found fulfillment in assisting in Search and Rescue Missions and honing my skills as a pilot. Aviation is not just a hobby for me; it's a passion that drives me to contribute to the safety and well-being of our community from the skies.

For the past 15 years, I’ve worked at various organizations in leadership roles, helping deliver multi-million dollar results at some of the largest companies in the United States like Cars.com, Subaru of America, and Cox Automotive. I’ve negotiated two massive public-private partnerships; one that brought affordable internet to more than 34,000 families in the Denver metro at a time of need in the 2020 pandemic. I’ve sat on 3 different non-profit boards of directors, directly serving neighborhoods with a focus on affordable housing.

In addition to my professional and aviation pursuits, I'm deeply committed to our local community. As a small business owner, I consult on digital advertising here in Traverse City, MI. Through my business, I've had the privilege of helping local businesses grow exponentially, all while contributing to the vibrancy of our neighborhoods and community.

Professionally, I bring over 15 years of experience in marketing leadership and digital advertising innovation. I’ve hired and trained hundreds of employees, negotiated public-private partnerships with the likes of the City of Indianapolis and the Denver Housing Authority, and have led more than 150 community listening sessions. I have a keen eye for corporate finances, working to protect revenue, and help organizations make sound purchasing decisions.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I find solace and joy in my personal life. I'm happily married, and my spouse and I reside in downtown Traverse City with our two beloved rescue pups.
